In Loving Memory
Known to those who loved her as Vee · Passed January 6, 2026
Flow of Care Foundation exists because of her — and for every patient who deserves the care she deserved.
VeAnna Poulsen — known to those who loved her as Vee — is the reason Flow of Care Foundation exists. When her cancer recurred in October 2025, her daughter Sabrina began searching for every resource, every comfort, every small thing that might make her treatment days more bearable. What Sabrina found in that search became the foundation of this organization.
Vee passed away on January 6, 2026. Her memory lives in every care kit, every volunteer companion, and every patient who finds their way to the resources they need.
"Sabrina began planning a nonprofit that she and her mother would build together while Vee underwent treatment. Vee passed away on January 6, 2026. In the weeks that followed, Sabrina made the decision to move forward — not despite losing her mother, but because of her."
The resources Sabrina found during her search — comfort items, support programs, information that could genuinely improve a patient's experience — were largely unknown, even within oncology centers. Many were financially inaccessible to average patients. The gap between what existed and what patients could access was not a gap of supply. It was a gap of awareness, navigation, and cost.
Flow of Care Foundation was built to close that gap. Every kit item was chosen with intimate knowledge. The water bottle in every Ever Infuse kit is under 20 ounces — a specific detail that came from watching a standard bottle become too heavy for Vee to lift during treatment. That is the level of care behind every decision this Foundation makes.
"We are building the organization we wished had existed for Vee."
Vee did not get to see the Foundation she inspired come to life. But every patient who receives a kit, every caregiver who finds a resource, every volunteer who sits with someone who would otherwise face treatment alone — they are her legacy. They are the reason Sabrina moved forward.
If you are here because you are walking through something hard right now — as a patient, as a caregiver, as someone who has loved and lost — you are exactly who this organization was built for.
You are not alone in this.
"Her memory lives in every care kit, every volunteer companion, and every patient who finds their way to the resources they need."
"I built this for my mom, and I built it for you. Because no one should face this alone — and no one should have to fight to find the support they deserve."
